To help our German client optimize their production efficiency and meet the growing demand for high-quality rawhide rolls, Darin Machinery successfully implemented a comprehensive upgrade and renovation of their existing production line. Before the upgrade, the production line required 6-7 workers for operation. After the renovation, thanks to the automation of key processes including feeding, rolling, and drying, only 2–3 operators are needed to run the entire line efficiently.
The factory layout was redesigned into a straight-line configuration, significantly reducing occupied floor space and improving overall workflow. This streamlined design facilitates smoother operations and easier maintenance.
With the integration of an advanced drying system and automatic coating module, the surface of the rawhide rolls is now smoother and more consistent. The improved drying control ensures better moisture retention and appearance, boosting product marketability.
Key processing steps such as feeding, rolling, cutting, sorting, drying, and coating are now fully automated. This has greatly increased production capacity while minimizing human error and operational downtime.
All contact surfaces of the equipment are made from food-grade stainless steel, ensuring that the product contact environment meets international hygiene and safety standards.
The comprehensive upgrade has led to higher production efficiency, better product quality, and lower operational costs, bringing tangible economic benefits to the customer.
