A pet treat cold extrusion line is a specialized type of production line used in the manufacture of pet treats through a process called cold extrusion. This method is distinct from traditional extrusion processes which typically involve high temperatures. Cold extrusion is a process where the material (in this case, pet treat dough or paste) is pressed through a die at room temperature to mold it into specific shapes and sizes without the application of heat. Darin® DR-126 Pet Treat Cold Extrusion Machine is specially used to produce cold extruding and high meat content products, such as lecithin treats, jerky treats, core filling treats, nutrition soft treats etc. The treats size and shape can be various by easily change the molds. The shape of soft jerky treats can be heart, cylinder, chips, strip, etc.

To increase capacity, we designed a double head extruder, the capacity can reach 150-200kg/hr.
The machine consists of cold pet treat extruder, 3m cooling conveyor, cutting machine.
Two cutting system, short treat can be cut on die head, while long treats are cut by cutting machine.

1. Ingredient Intake and Dosing:

Sensors or predetermined lengths trigger blades to cut the continuous treat stream into individual pieces.

6. Quality Control (Optional):

7. Packaging:
A robotic arm or conveyor system carefully transfers the finished treats into designated packaging units.
