Project for Hxxxxxx, Ireland · Completed in June 2025
Customer: Hxxxxxx, Ireland
Project Time: June 2025
Manufacturer: Darin Machinery
To support our Irish customer in modernizing their pet treat manufacturing operations, Darin Machinery delivered a comprehensive upgrade and renovation of the Bird Treats Bar Production Line. This project aimed to enhance efficiency, reduce labor dependency, and expand production capacity while maintaining product quality and consistency.
Key Aspect | Before | After |
---|---|---|
Labor Requirement | 6–8 manual workers | 1–2 operators |
Factory Layout | Scattered, semi-automated | Space-saving, straight-line design |
Process Flow | Complex, partially manual | Streamlined, fully optimized |
Production Capacity | 100 kg/h | 300–400 kg/h |
Operational Efficiency | Low | High automation and reduced downtime |
The manual production process previously required 6–8 workers. After the upgrade, automation reduced the requirement to just 1–2 operators, significantly lowering labor costs and improving consistency.
The revamped line features a straight-line, compact design, which reduced the overall floor space required and optimized factory logistics and equipment flow.
Darin re-engineered the production process, resulting in a more efficient process chart with better synchronization across equipment, reduced bottlenecks, and simplified operation and maintenance.
The upgrade enabled a fully automated workflow, increasing output from 100 kg/h to 300–400 kg/h. This threefold boost in productivity gives the customer more flexibility to meet growing market demand.
This upgrade empowered Hxxxxxx with a cost-effective, space-efficient, and high-yield production solution, allowing them to better serve the European pet treat market with high-quality bird treat bars.
