Dog Chew Drying System Upgrade& Renovation

In response to the growing demand for higher efficiency and product consistency, Darin Machinery was commissioned by a well-known German client, Fxxxxxx, to upgrade their existing dog chew drying system. The objective was to enhance productivity, reduce manual labor, optimize the factory layout, and improve the final product appearance.

After an in-depth evaluation of the client’s existing production line and site layout, Darin tailored a comprehensive renovation plan to meet their specific needs. The solution integrated advanced automation technologies and restructured the workflow to align with modern production standards.

Key Improvements

1. Labor Cost Reduction
The upgraded system drastically reduced the number of required operators. While the previous setup needed 4–5 workers to manage feeding and supervision, the new line operates efficiently with just 1–2 personnel, significantly cutting labor costs.

2. Space Optimization
By reconfiguring the drying line into a straight-line structure, Darin helped the client reclaim valuable floor space and simplify production flow. This not only enhanced overall efficiency but also created room for future capacity expansion.

3. Improved Drying Results
The drying effect was greatly optimized. With better control over temperature and airflow, the new system ensures that each dog chew product is evenly dried, resulting in a smoother and more attractive surface appearance.

4. Increased Capacity Through Automation
One of the most notable outcomes was the increase in output. The automated process boosted production from 100 kg/h to 200–300 kg/h, meeting the client’s growing market demand while maintaining product quality.
